Girls can be David Bowie too! Our finale Halloween staff costume is a special one.
It's with our DP, Lauren, who is usually BEHIND the camera at Sèchoir TV. We had a blast watching her get into character and channel the rock God, lightening bolts and all…
It's so simple to create. Get your eighties on with clothes and hair inspired by the decade and follow these easy makeup steps to get the David Bowie look.

David Bowie Makeup Tutorial steps:
Create a flawless complexion by using foundation and blending all over face. (Stila Stay All Day Foundation and Concealer)
Using the translucent powder, set your foundation. (Make Up For Ever HD Microfinish Powder)
Taking a pink blush, apply in a C-Shape over check bones and forehead. Exaggerate the color. NARS Blush, Starscape)
Take a black eye shadow and apply on both eyelids. Then, using a clean brush, lightly buff in the crease of your eye, blending any rough edges to create a nice transition. (Make Up For Ever Artist Shadow, Onyx [Satin])
Apply mascara. LOTS!
Take the magenta colored paint from the 12 Color Flash palette and start to line out the lightning bolt shape going down the face, starting at the top of your forehead. Once finished creating the outline, fill in. (Make Up Forever 12 Flash Color Case, Artistic)
Taking the black from the flash palette, line the left side of the pink with a thin black line. Then repeat with the light blue/aqua paint, lining the black.
Taking the black eye shadow, use it as eyeliner and apply to the lower lash line to accentuate the eyes.
Set the look, lightly touching translucent powder all over the face once more.
Mix a bit of the light pink and silver paint from the flash palette together. This is your lipstick. Apply and you're done!
